Hi, I’m Heidi, a foodie with a camera. Thanks for stopping by!

My love for photography started with a disposable camera when I was 11. The moment I snapped a photo of that blue poison dart frog at the Washington DC zoo during our family vacation, I couldn’t wait to get the film developed — and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I grew up on a potato farm in Idaho (yes, I know my way around a spud), and now live in sunny Arizona with my husband, three teen boys, and our very fluffy dog.

I spent several years as a family and newborn photographer before taking a break to be a full-time mom. During that time, I poured my creativity into my kids and learning how to bake my way through several cookbooks. For the last 10 years I’ve been a watercolor artist. Running a custom artwork business has taught me the importance of good communication in any client relationship.

These days, you’ll find me behind the lens capturing mouthwatering food — much to the delight of my boys, who get to eat every project I shoot.
